Three weeks after purchasing a phone, charger and delivery fee totalling 425€, I’ve received an invoice from UPS for VAT + charge on a purchase with a matching consignment code to the phone purchase but at a value of 490€.. a) fucking Brexit.. b) eh, wtf? In what world does an item increase in value by 15% just by way of being transitted in a UPS van?

It pisses me off when companies don't have contact email addresses on their websites, just phone numbers.. particularly in the case of UPS where in order to find the email address you need to register with them.. Then if you call them and make your initial switchboard selection you are advised by automated message to email them and then they give you the contact email address.. just put the address on your website, why do people have to call you to get a fecking email address?
Seems like an issue at the e.Solutions end as they have charged me correctly (as in no VAT applied) but the details passed on to UPS already include VAT, so the calculations at customs or UPS are being made on an inflated value.
